Eager consumers will be queuing up today to buy the most coveted gadget of the year, the Apple Iphone.

The Iphone sold out in the UK shortly after release but today marks the birth of the New Iphone promising more bells and whistles than its older brother.

So what do buyers get today that they wouldn't have got on the original release day?

The Iphone now comes equipped with 3G aiding speed freaks with their data download on the information autobahn. Push email with Microsoft Exchange and for all a commuters needs a built in Ipod as well.

But what about owners of the old style? Well you will just have to go out and buy a new one according to Apple as there doesn't appear to be a trade in system in place.

How long until the Iphone 3 comes out, leaving this one in the dark ages as well?
