Making Money From Home: Is It Possible?

The older I get the more apparent it becomes to me just how precious money is. Yes, you heard me, precious. Every single night of my life is shaped by how much money I have in my bank account. If I have none, then I'm in for the night. If I got some, then I'm out of this house faster then you can say “high interest credit card bills that need to be paid!”
But this is hardly groundbreaking; we all struggle with money at one time or another. This is why I'm confident in saying, that we've probably all considered ways to make money on the side. And with the internet being such an available portal to “get rick quick schemes”, I'm sure we've all signed up for a website or two that promised us some extra cash.
As a recent college grad just back from Europe, I have more student loans then I could have ever imagined. So, lately I've been trying to explore all my options. In the past, I've tried signing up for websites that promise you money if you complete there surveys, but I've never had any luck.
Which brings on the question: can you actually make money from these websites?
So, what I propose to do is sign up for as many of these websites as I can, and see which websites can actually deliver within a one-month period.
Some of the website I've already sign up for are:
-The Human Times- yes! This exact website claims to have a payout for writer's articles that are popular on the site. This is my fourth article, but I plan on writing many more, and also will have a follow-up article to this one to document my findings. http://www.humantimes.com
Hits4pay- A site I've stumbled upon recently, where you get paid to read emails. Most money is made by recommending people to the site, and having them sign up. This appears to be the most promising. You get a $10 bonus for signing up. http://hits4pay.com/members/index.cgi?cousi87
-Inbox Dollars- A site where you are compensated for reading emails and completing surveys. You get a $5 bonus for signing up. So far, things are going slowly. http://www.inboxdollars.com/
Lightspeed Panel- Get paid to take surveys at home. The longer the survey, the more points you get, and the more points you get, then the more money you make. Haven't started this one yet, they always turn me down for the surveys. www.lightspeedpanel.com
Well, that's all I got for now. But I'm always on the lookout for anything new. If anyone has any of their own money-making sites they go to then feel free to comment. As for me, I've got one month to see if this experiment can actually make me some extra dough. I don't expect anything to mind-blowing, but I'd like to think that not every website out there is a scam. Either way, I'll be sure deliver a full-detailed report, so stay tuned!
