Fashion has been taking a turn into an interesting direction. In previous years, fashion for women was all the same: delicate, soft, appealing, form fitting and feminine. But this year, the tables have turned. Ever since Alexander McQueen, a British fashion designer, introduced his infamous skull scarf on the runway in 2003, Hollywood has been going crazy for the dead. The renowned scarf runs varies in price (I've seen it on Ebay for $60 and way up). And has been photographed on celebrities like: Sienna Miller, Kate Moss, Ashlee Simpson, Lindsey Lohan, and Mary-Kate Olson. Now, if the price of the scarf doesn't scare you off, good luck finding one. These scarves are so high in demand that prices on Ebay have surpassed its market value and are still steadily increasing.

The scarf almost went unnoticed, until (unofficially) Kate Moss was photographed wearing it. Quickly the trend was picked up by all of Hollywood's “it” crowd, and then slowly it made its way across North America. If you're looking for a knock off, almost every accessory store will have something similar. We've even branched off and placed logos on shoes, t-shirts, hats, purses and socks. Making this season famous for brining the dead back to life.
