Cobham 9s Keep Rolling!

Starting the tournament with a match against a strong Dorking side , Cobham put an early victory under their belts winning 4 tries to 0.Thanks to fast hands from Rickerd and strong tackling from Curthbert.
A step up in pace from Palliser and great straight hard running from Mitcheal saw Cobham pull of a superb win against Sutton & Epsom by 3 tries to 1, with Bond , Davison and Hansen all crossing the line.In the third game against Haslemere , Cobham put in some fantastic tackling form Yorke and Cullen.The victory 4 tries to 1 put Cobham through to the semi-finals against Esher.
With both teams scoring 2 tries a peace extra time was played ,Cobham defended well with Drewett and fast hands from Robinson saw Bond and Orlich go over for tries to put Cobham through to the final against Effingham & Leatherhead.
The final saw some great rugby played from both sides with each team attacking and defending well.At half time the scores were locked at 0-0 with no side giving an inch but with some magic footwork from bond he created a gap and manged to go over in the corner.Effingham & Leatherhead threw everything at Cobham , but Cobham held on to secure their second festival win of the season.
