The Return of Tiger

It should be all about the “How”, not the “When”

So Tiger Woods is going to return at the Masters in 2 weeks time. This is because, he says, he is not ready to play before then, but has such respect for that tournament and knows the course so well that it’s a good place for him to come back
Everyone else in the World knows, of course, that the real reason is that Augusta can protect him better than any other tournament in the World could and help ease him back in. There will be no press except golfing correspondents, no public except golf fans and no outside distractions apart from those approved by the committee.
So why not be honest and say so? Why not trying to put more spin on everything to do with this than you ever put on a lob wedge and admit why you’re doing this
Why not have an interview where questions can be asked that is more than 5 minutes long and is away from any clashes with golf tournaments and get it over with?
Why not show the game, the sponsors and the other players the respect you are hoping they will once again show you?
Why not stop trying to micro manage everything to do with your return and be open, honest and genuinely humble and repentant about recent events- that way you may actually be welcomed back.
Come on Tiger, your golf game has real class. This may be your last chance to show that you yourself have just a little of the same quality
