Prince talks about being a Jehovah's Witness

Prince has revealed to this week's New Yorker magazine that he is a Jehovah's Witness.

He said that he became part of the Christian denomination two years ago and wants to knock on as many doors as possible to convert others.

The bizarre singer said: 'Sometimes people act surprised, but mostly they're totally cool about it.'

He then went on to refer to his conversion as something of 'a realisation. It's like Morpheus and Neo in The Matrix.'
