Kany West: I'm like Princess Diana!

After announcing that he believes that he is the voice of the generation Kanye West has now compared himself to Princess Diana.

He made the comparisons during an angry rant on his website after his arrest in Newcastle last week.

The star wrote: 'Regardless of how much light I put out, there are people working just as hard to only deliver darkness.

'If you listen to my music, how could I deliver so many positive, uplifting messages and be the monster the media paints.

'Let us not forget that the paps killed Princess Diana. The exploitation of my image is the problem.'

He also denies assaulting photographer Terry Blackburn: 'I didn't assault him, I merely put my hand up to cover his lens.

'I guess in all the commotion the camera scraped his nose. Three hours later I get a knock at my hotel door.

'There were five police officers and I had no idea why. They placed me in handcuffs and drove me to the station.'
