Reporter quits over Pink interview

A New Zealand TV reporter has quit her job after confronting pop star Pink during an interview.

TVNZ's Hannah Hodson alledgedly had a vendetta against Pink after the singer sacked her sister, who worked as the star's assistant.

During the interview Hodson reportedly antagonised Pink so much that the So what singer stormed out of the recording.

The interview was sceduled to appear on New Zealand show Close Up but sources claim it was a 'train wreck' and will not be aired.

Pink described the reporter as 'insane' and insisted she tried her best to make the interview work but Hodson made it too hard for her to want to stay.

This is not the first time Hodson has got on the wrong side of a star. Last year during a chat with Nicole Kidman, the reporter read out a harsh review of the actress' film The Golden Compass.
