I've got the Holiday Blues....

and looking for the Holiday ROCK AND ROLL!!!

I love music and classic rock is my thing.  One of my favorite all time bands is Concrete Blonde, the founder is female with an amazing voice.   Her name is Johnette Napolitano, she is the backbone of CB along with a great guitarist,  Jim Mankey.   I currently have about 12 of their CDs, each song is a gem.   You remember that old radio hit "Joey"??

Johnette is a bit Janis Joplin, a bit Grace Slick but mostly herself!   50 years old and still kicks butt.  Gorgeous too.

Concrete Blonde retired last year but Jim and Johnette have solo work out.   I have met both of them several times, they reside out in Joshua Tree and know some of my friends who live in the desert area, just east of Palm Springs.

Do yourself a huge musical treat and find some old CB cds, downloads, etc...you will be hooked like I have been for years!!!  Johnette's solo CD is "Scarred".   She is always on some new project, has written music  for movies, TV series, etc...The Sopranos and Underworld being just two.
