EOS CRASHES!

Sad to say but another good airline files chapter 11...
EOS, a carrier that started in NY in order to target the lucrative London - NY route and focus entirely on business class passengers, has filed for bankruptcy.
Having had the pleasure to fly EOS on several occasions I can tell you that the level of service and comfort was far superior to the larger airlines. The staff was pleasant and attentive with lovely food and enough room to have a proper kip during your journey.
The website is vague about why they firm had to fold. It mentions the fact that they did have an offer letter for additional funding but apparently "issues arose which prevented the parties moving forward".
Our sympathies to the investors of EOS and to the management who worked so hard to create a value added airline. I hope you can resurrect the service at a later date and would certainly be looking forward to being among the first to fly with you again.
