Is it Majick or prayer?

Magic/prayer. Just what was it that Moses did when he parted the sea? He spoke words, he used a medallion, and he "prayed".
What about the person who goes into a church, lights a candle to a Saint praying for something.
Prayer? Ritual? Magic?
Many practicing Wiccan witches know that selective forms of worship mask the word majick. Note the spelling difference. Magic is a card trick, a rabbit out of the hat. Majick is a ritual, with a beginning, and middle and an ending, in the hope that whatever it was you are trying to achieve, will happen. Doesn't this sound a lot like prayer?
When I am involved in a ritual I am imploring the universe to help me mesh with the tides of infinite energy for whatever result I am hoping for.
When my mother goes to church and lights a candle, she prays that the appropriate Saint will hear her plea, send it to God and grant her what it is she is in need of.
I state, again is it magic, or prayer?
It seems that no matter what you call it, it is mysterious, personal, and self satisfying. As long as you are deriving satisfaction from your prayer/majick, then go for it.
After all the universe is a mystery, the faith of many tested daily, energy abounds for those that harness it. It simply doesn't matter any longer how you do it, just that you do. On your knees before an alter and candles, the words written for you, or in a circle with incantations you have written yourself. As long as you believe, they both accomplish something.
