Wife bans husband from marital bed after he attacks her while she sleeps!

A wife has been forced to banish her loving husband from their marital bed - because he has developed a rare condition causing him to attack her in his sleep. Gentle Derek Barfoot, 75, has got 'parasomnia', a rare medical condition which means he acts out violent dreams while asleep without realising what he is doing- how frightening! His wife Elaine has had to take action in helping her to become less conscious while sleeping by securing all her kitchen knives in the garden shed since she fears he could stab her in her sleep! On two occasions the normally loving husband has punched his wife repeatedly in the face and back in the middle of the night and once he even tried to break her arm! The poor thing!
