My life has been a mixed bag of experiences for the last thirteen years. There is nothing like both good and bad experiences to make you grow up and see life in different ways. The great thing about writing is the freedom to express yourself in any way you can and if a reader enjoys what you do, then that's a huge bonus.

I'm a northern lass born and bred in deepest, darkest Grimsby. It is as grim as it sounds. But I've lived in two other towns since the age of 18 and now I have found myself living and working in London.

I came to London three years ago to try and pursue a career in editing or journalism-I even did a three month diploma course in magazine journalism which I really enjoyed. Despite dipping my toe in the world of media my career hasn't exactly taken off...but I never give up! One day it might...you never know what round the corner!

My interests are as varied as I am. Music is my number 1 passion. I love singing and listening to variety of different styles anything from rock, pop, dance, techno, classical and jazz.

I also enjoy being a couch potato-the best way to enjoy this is through TV and films. I enjoy the soaps, a murder muystery and loads of DVDs.

Reading is good. I love thrillers-the more dead bodies and twists-the better I like it. James Patterson and Tess Gerritson are great writers.I also love Michael Connolly, Lisa Gardener, Harlen Coben, Simon Kernic, Andrew Gross, and Sandra Brown.

I also love America, eating out the cinema and spending time with my lush finance. He's even got me into photography and I love my Canon Rebel XT slr.
