London Has Gone Black

Until three years ago I had always lived in towns. Racism was never an issue. Regardless of origins, everyone appeared get on and communities came together. I wouldn’t call myself racist either; it’s not exactly a nice term. Something I always associated with the KKK or the British Nationalist Party (BNP). I, probably like many others thought of these as extremist groups and nothing more.
Three years ago I moved to London. The great capital city of England, the place I had always wanted to live. Never in a million years would I have dreamed of wanting to leave London after such a short time. Racism does still exist. Being white and British is very much a forgotten entity in London these days. To be honest I blame the government for not restricting the numbers of immigrants allowed in the UK. At the end of the day, we are a small blip of an Island compared to the likes of Europe, Asia and America yet we take in the most immigrants. Is it any wonder that so many Brits are moving abroad at a fast rate? This country has lost its identity and it won’t be long before we become an
Islamic State. I can see this happening. Would we be any worse off now, if Germany had won World War 2?
Many of London’s most notorious shopping areas; such as Oxford Street, Bond Street, Regent Street and Piccadilly Circus only seem to employ foreigners/immigrants. You can go to almost any shop, bar, restaurant or fast food joint and you will be hard pushed to find an English speaking member of staff. You can visit McDonalds and ask for cheeseburger and fries and the assistant will look at you with a blank expression, not understanding a word you have said. You end up repeating yourself and shouting your order just to be understood. London is a stressful and fast paced enough without adding language barriers to the list of hurdles to overcome.
What surprises me the most is how rude and aggressive many blacks and Muslims are. They take all our jobs, council houses and benefits but seem to be devoid of any manners and seem to think they own the country, and we ‘whites’ should bow down to them. If society truly has moved on in terms of equality and racism then why do they treat the genuine white, British people with such contempt? I appreciate that you cannot tar all with the same brush. There are some polite and hard working foreigners who love Britain and appreciate being here. What I don’t understand is why so many immigrants have the nerve to diss the UK and the people who have been brought up here. If you don’t like it here, then move back home. At then end of the day we are not a war torn country (yet) and despite our failings, we don’t constantly live in fear of being murdered, raped or massacred. Surly as a relatively peaceful nation, living here is better than in a communist, war torn country?
The simple things in London like queuing in shops, getting on the tube are often stressful as Muslims shove you out of the way. It happens all the time. They stare at you, and nudge you and expect you to move without a please or a thank you. They very rarely apologize for their rudeness and it makes me more aggressive too, when normally I’m placid and easy going.
I live within ten miles of Watford in Middlesex. I’ve lived in that area for over two years. To begin with I really enjoyed going out to the local pubs for a night out or a weekend drink with my partner. In the early days it was a prominently white area. Over the last eight months however, the area has become dirty, full of rats and its beginning to sound like inner London with an almost constant sound of police and ambulance sirens sounding day or night. Why is this? More blacks and muslims have moved into the area. The once quiet and friendly pubs are now over run with ‘their own kind’. Their endless Bhangra music blares out from some of the local pubs, restaurants and from people’s mobile phones. It seems to be ok for these people to own the streets and live by their own culture while living over here. The English are not allowed to be patriot and put up their Union Jacks or The St Georges Flag. Why you ask? Because are our Nationalism upsets the muslims. Instead the police tell people to remove them cars or from windows. It is acceptable for muslim woman to cover up their entire body and face in black, despite this to me, being a statement of putting up barriers, arrogance and hating Britain. In France and Turkey it is against the law to wear black vales and cover up your face. Over here people of all nationalities can do as the please, but when we visit their country we have to live by THEIR laws. Again I feel the government is to blame for being over tolerant.
Even finding a job in London is becoming more and more difficult. With many companies having to fill their quota of blacks and muslims they have taken this to extremes. I have worked for two companies in London, one media and one in publishing. In both companies, if you are muslim or black you can do what you like and no one says a thing. I’ve witnessed staff constantly coming in late, being rude to customers and basically skiving and doing as little as possible. Their arrogance is obvious. They know no one will say anything because if they do, all you get is ‘you’re being racism’. Why should I be hard working, honest and reliable? It doesn’t get me anywhere!
In my current job I started a four week long induction course. Two of us were white, one was from Bangladesh and the other two were black. In training we all got on really well and I thought they were potential friends. The girl from Bangladesh was friendly, a little full of herself but she and I were placed on the same team. A month after we were on the team and taking calls another new girl came onto the team. It was fine at first, but it didn’t take long for the blacks and muslims on the team to join force and ignore me. It was so obvious. I had done my best to befriend them, (including the team leader) but my efforts were wasted. The four of them spend all their breaks together, talk in a groups and don’t involve other members of the team who are white. The only time they speak to you is when they need your help or a favour, and even then there is a lack of please and thank you. I have seen first hand how white people can be treated within the work place. Racism does exist, and now we are very much in the minority. In London especially, we are very much treated like second class citizens. I and other friends around me have all experienced the negative nuances that come with being British and white. This ranges from the lack of respect in the workplace to being on the streets and just their general behavior towards us.
Two months ago my boyfriend went to a job interview to a mobile phone company for a customer service role. Out of ten people who were there for interviews only two of them were white. Needless to say he didn’t get the job.
After reading this you may think or believe me to be racist. I can’t say for sure either way, but I am sick and tired of this country making allowances for people of other religions and beliefs when they disrespect ours. If we could all be honest and hard working and join together as one nation then maybe all this racism which is breeding hatred and violence will cease. I can’t see this happening, I think the gap between the different societies will only widen. Many muslims form my experiences only seem to be interested in what they take from the British. They certainly don’t show many signs of wanting to integrate and join in with anything British related. There is nothing wrong with being multicultural and open minded, but at what cost to this nation are we expected to go?
Gun culture, knife crimes, gangs and crime is soaring, both in and out of London Every time you read a paper or watch the news, we greeted with the latest stabbing, the latest drugs bust, the latest shootings involving gangs. How many of these are linked to people living in black and muslim communities? You can’t blame foreigners and immigrants for everything bad in London and indeed UK. Not all white people are law abiding either.
Moving to London was certainly an eye opener and the experience has only opened my eyes to what is going on around me. I really do think the government and powers that be need to address the issue of immigrants and the laws surrounding them. Stricter guide lines should be put in place and if you live in Britain you should live as a Britain. Religious beliefs should remain in the country they originate from.
This is just my opinion and my experiences which I have shared with you. I am proud to be British and white people are just as important in the world as blacks, muslims and other ethnic races. After reading this you may disagree entirely with my comments but as freedom of speech is still applicable within the UK, I have the right to my opinion and to express my beliefs and concerns.
