Introducing Rain-Proof Wimbledon

Can you imagine Wimbledon without delays on Center Court matches due to rain or darkness?

Welcome to Wimbledon 2009.

We had the great pleasure of attending the match last night between Murray and Wawrinka. It was a spectacle to behold not just for the outstanding tennis but for the incredible new twist the roof has given to our beloved Wimbledon.

The atmosphere was electric, the lighting perfect, and the air conditioning second to none. Imagine, air conditioning in England?!? In a stadium no less and SW19 to boot! What has the world come to?

I can tell you it was perfect. From the system for challenging line calls to the ushers and ball people, absolutely everything was flawless. Nothing less then the absolute class we all have come to expect from the worlds premier tennis event. The roof was the icing on the cake.

Congratulations to the management and all involved for pulling off an outstanding production last night. We are all looking forward to many more match saving roof experiences to come!
