flooding in Cobham, Surrrey

Today, as I approached the town centre. I expected wet roads and perhaps a few large puddles. However, as I drove in past the river, the foot path no longer existed. It had been completely flooded and came all the way up to the road. The issue was that once you commit to getting into the town you can't turn back. Many cars had water up to their mirros as they attempted to plow through the the deep water. Some people were in the water struggling to get their vehicles onto dry land. I was lucky and managed power through an area which wasn't as deep. This was the worst flood I have ever seen in the area.
