WEIGHT ON MY SHOULDERS

How come when it comes to diet commercials they always show women and not men? Okay, every once in a while they’ll put a guy in the commercial but it looks like the burden always falls on us.

It doesn’t matter how old we get or how many kids we have had society still expects us to be the same weight as we were in high school which is humanly impossible. That’s why you have so many women over the age of 40 walking around with pencil thin legs & joker faces. Yes, joker faces. That’s the face you get when you have had too much plastic surgery or you went to the wrong plastic surgeon.

Then the ironic thing is that these women try there best to stay thin and the men still end up looking at the 18 years olds! Talk about a catch-22!

I’m not saying we should just let our bodies go but I think we need to make it an even playing field. If a man can get away with a big beer belly and be called “portly” then a woman with the same belly should be called, I don’t know….something like generously portioned!
